Before you go running off and buying the biggest, most expensive unit, here are some things to consider:
* How much storage do you really ''need''? If you own about 50 movies, you don't need 20 shelves and 10 cabinets. Always allow yourself a little extra room for future buying!
* Besides watching movies, some people read! Would you like to display your books as well in the unit? Get a unit with a bookcase.
* Will you be upgrading in the near future? If you plan on adding more equipment or a bigger TV, look into units that you can add storage space to.
* Do you want contemporary? Modern units are sleek and stylish but may not offer as much storage space.
* Do you want cabinet door to hide the TV?
* Measure. Measure. And then measure again. Don't just make sure your TV will fit. Also measure your players, game consoles, and speakers.
